Privacy notice

Updated 25 July 2026

This notice explains how we process personal data submitted through the wedding website and RSVP form. We use the information only to plan and organise our wedding.

1. Data controllers

The data controllers are Lauri Breeze and Cheryl Rintamäki (Breeze after the wedding). For privacy questions, contact us using the same contact details through which you received your invitation or normally contact us.

2. Information we process

We may process party and guest names, invitation codes, attendance responses, contact details, food and drink choices, dietary and allergy information, accessibility or other practical requirements, and messages left for the couple.

Please provide only information that is needed to arrange a safe and comfortable celebration.

3. Why we process the information

We use the information to manage invitations and RSVPs, calculate attendance, order catering, reduce food and drink waste, and plan accommodation, transport, accessibility and other practical arrangements.

We do not use the information for marketing, profiling or automated decision-making.

4. Legal basis

We process ordinary personal data to carry out the practical arrangements for the wedding. Dietary, allergy and accessibility information is provided voluntarily so that we can accommodate your needs. Where this information includes health data, processing is based on your explicit consent.

You may withdraw your consent or ask us to delete the information by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before the request.

5. How we receive the information

Information is provided by invited guests or by a person completing the RSVP on behalf of their party. When providing information about another person, please ensure that they know about the submission and this privacy notice.

6. Storage and security

The information is stored using Supabase and is accessed only as necessary to organise the wedding. The administration area requires authentication, and invitations are opened using a personal invitation code.

We delete the information when it is no longer needed for wedding-related follow-up. Our aim is to delete RSVP information within six months after the wedding, unless a specific item should be removed earlier or there is a justified reason to retain it for longer.

7. Recipients

Information may be processed by Lauri and Cheryl and, only where necessary, service providers involved in the wedding. We may share food choices, allergies and other catering-related requirements with the caterer. Other providers receive only information necessary for their task.

Supabase provides the technical data storage service. We do not sell personal data or disclose it for marketing purposes.

8. Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data. You may also object to or restrict processing, or withdraw consent, where those rights apply under data protection law.

You can normally update your RSVP using the same invitation code. For other requests, contact us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.

9. Cookies and tracking

The website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Technical information necessary for authentication, security and essential website operation may be processed.

10. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice if the website or our processing practices change. The current version is always available on this page.
